Arrows on Text Frames can't be removed

Recommended Posts

Pub 1.7.3.475

If a text frame includes arrows, it's impossible to remove it.

If you say e.g. "start: without" and next "End: without" one arrow is still diplayed in the control box.

Trying to adjust the second arrow to "without" too, the first one turns back to an arrow symbol and vs.

And nothing happened on the textframe itself.

Interesting.

As far as I can see, you can't put arrow-heads on a Text Frame directly. So I presume you started with a rectangle, added the arrow-heads, then converted it to a Text Frame?

But once you've done that, they do seem permanent, which probably isn't right.

3. Converted the box to a text frame ... now the arrows are in and not removeable anymore ...

When all else fails, the Revert Details button on the main toolbar should reset the text frame (shape text) and remove the arrows (stroke)

Yes, Revert Defaults (with the object selected) works. Thanks for the reminder.
