Nicole Hurst
When I have a selection up, I can no longer Alt click on the mask icon to create an inverted mask. Instead, it just makes a completely black mask. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hd9b9sm3bxznsyw/black mask.mov?dl=
carl123
Did that ever work? I just tried it on 1.7.3, 1.7.1 and 1.6.5 and I get the same results you are seeing Or was it something that worked on MACs but not Windows? I'm on Windows, cant test on a MAC Nicole Hurst 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff Gabe Posted September 19, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 19, 2019 Hi both, Alt-clicking on a mask with a selection active will not create an inverted mask. This is how it has always worked. If you however alt-click without a selection, it will create an inverted mask. Thanks, Gabe. Nicole Hurst
carl123
@Nicole Hurst To achieve what I think you want to achieve make your selection click the mask button as normal Go to the Channels panel right-click on the Mask Alpha layer and select Invert Nicole Hurst 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
