curtds
I'm drawing in the iPad Pro Affinity Designer. If I want to erase a line I go to the pixel persona and it will erase that line that I had just drawn, but it won't erase any previous lines. What am I doing wrong? An example is circle one and circle two. As you can see it will erase part of circle 2, but it won't do anything to circle 1. Also, is there anyway to erase while I'm in vector persona instead of having to go back and forth with vector and pixel persona? Thanks. Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @curtds. In the absence of a Vector Eraser Tool you need to break the selected curve at two nodes and delete the separate curve thus created. The reason why the mask is only affecting the right-hand curve is simply that it’s nested in that layer. Staff Dan C Posted September 18, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 18, 2019 Another option - if you wish to continue using the pixel eraser - is to select 'Curve 1' in your layers panel. As each circle will be its own object in the layers panel, you have to select the specific curve before using the eraser. I hope this helps Quote Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave. curtds
Thanks. But it appears that Procreate is a better program to draw with especially for erasing, and I can just Airdrop it to my Mac and then to Affinity Designer and it'll stay as a vector.
