For some reason I cant export this file to PDF.

I've tried to recreate the cause but was not able. I know I have rotated the artboard but i'm not shore if that's the reason.

Am attaching the file.

Hi Rondem,

Thanks for the PDF. The document is failing due to the colour profile used in the document - the colour profile has a version number of 0.0 (this seems incorrect on the ICC profile's behalf) which is not supported by the PDF 1.7 format. If you change your document to regular sRGB instead of the black scaled version you've used it will export.

Would it be possible for you to attach a copy of that ICC profile please?

I dont have any ICC profile set for my windows 10 color management.

Thank you for the clarification, why it was a problem for not exporting. Good to know.

Am attaching the Color Preferences of AD.

It will be the Colour Profile you have selected when you start a new document. If you start one now without changing any settings you may find it is set to sRGB black scaled. If you go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color\ could you look for the sRGB black scaled.icc file (or a name similar to that) and attach it please?

Unfortunately that doesn't look like its the file. Are you able to attach a copy of all the files (zipped up) from that folder please? Could you also attach the Log.txt file found in this directory as well please (presuming you don't have the Windows Store build):
%APPDATA%\Affinity\Designer\1.0\

Thanks!

Thanks for those files! You have indeed done it correctly, and unfortunately it doesn't seem like that profile is on your system! Did you create that initial document from scratch? If you create a new RGB/8 document do you see 'sRGB IEC61966-2-1 black scaled' in the Colour Profile list?

Yes the document was made from new. Maybe I've scrolled by mistake to a different profile while working or making the file.

This are the color profiles in AD. the Black scaled is listed.

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (File fails to export ICC profile for PDF 1.6/1.7) of the program in the latest release.

The fixes and how to update are described in these forum posts.

We would appreciate you checking that this issue has now been resolved for you,
