Folbo
Whether cmd-P or file > print ... same effect ... Crash. The offending file is basically an edited pdf with some text boxes and a little text on top. When I create a new document with a simple shape ... print does not crash ... so I suggest that it might be something to do with the file. I have attached the Apple error log (txt file) as well as the offending Publisher document. Regards Martin. Staff Jon P Posted September 16, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 16, 2019 Can you try the 1.7.3 beta and let me know if that still crashes? There is a fix relating to crashing whilst printing in there The beta is on our forums here Thanks Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com

Da Buzz
Just installed the B-version of Publisher. GOOD news! There are no issues with printing the same file that caused the instant crash in Publisher 1.7.2 MacOs
Staff Jon P Posted September 17, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 17, 2019 Good to hear, there is a bug that can cause it in 1.7.2 that is fixed in 1.7.3 so it sounds like that's what you (and hopefully the OP) were experiencing. robkendrew
Still getting constant crashes whenever I try to print anything. I'm using Publisher 1.7.3 and Mac OS El Capitan. Happening nearly every time now. Not good.
Staff Jon P Posted November 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 11, 2019 @robkendrew Does it crash on a blank new file? What printer are you using? Can you attach a crash report? What you are experiencing isn't common so we need more information to help troubleshoot it. Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
robkendrew
Sorry - only just saw this response but it's happening again. Not on a new document but intermittently on any document. Used to just be on CTL P so a workaround was to print through the Menu dropdown but now whenever I amend the print settings - eg adding crop marks. Using an Epson Stylus Photo 1500. Attached is a Crash Report PDF. Process: Affinity Publisher [2408].pdf
