Very interesting style.  If I saw it elsewhere I would have assumed it was created with a traditional (non-digital) medium.  Including snapshots of the image as it was being created is greatly appreciated.  It really is amazing the many different styles of art that can be created with Affinity Designer, when in the hands of a skilled artist such as yourself.

Thanks EducationalPrinciple. Began creating skin pores for which a custom vector brush was made, as I did to create the hair strands. These are better visible in larger scale - original size is 80 x 62 cm - or larger. This was my aim; to create artwork that could be re-scaled to any size without loss of quality.
