Hope you don't take my comment the wrong way. This thread is an authentic gallery - fantastic from start to end . Please keep posting...

Of course not, MEB :), all comments are welcome to help me seeing better the (/any) image. Actually, my cat was in a bag and wanted to play with all moving objects. I did hide a part of it (the bag) at the upper left side which did perturb me but did not notice the sharpness of the zipper. I'll do some more editing.

Again, thank you for your comments, much appreciated ;)

Cheers,

Patrick

@Pattou what a spectacular image!  Those whiskers are almost wafting on the screen.   And the eyes are so alive.

Again, very simple subject but in movement (due to the wind)... movement that I somehow get in the picture, and I like too the natural light reflection - edited in APh 1.7.2.

Wonderfully done - it looks like a painting :17_heart_eyes: the black-and-white version is superb!

@ChrisSmere Thank you for your kind words, Chris :) I've been a bit surprised to get this graphism given the original raw but I think the light reflection and the overall blurry background bring much to the final picture... if one only likes such photographs.

Simple image (nef raw)... nothing special as specimen except the overall shape, just tested gradient mapping in APh 1.7 (+ sharpen/levels/curves adjustment).

Kind of sepia tone mapping.

(~)macrophotography of an hymenoptera. More classic but real photography as usual... I did indeed press the shutter-release button of a real camera on a windy day (no montage or vector drawings). Although the insect eyes are not visible, I like the overall shape and light ;) (f5, iso 320) and edited in APh1.7 (tone mapping for sharpness and photo presona for levels, curves, hsl editing).

Looks like a good old American bumblebee having found a Paris couturier to cloth him in more elegant colors.  Yours also has more refined tastes!  Ours will gather on any old plant with a blossom -- a little pollen here, a little more there!  Lovely picture.

I would like to show that if one appreciates textures/colors/shapes/abstract patterns/etc... every photo -whatever the object- can be attractive and/or stimulate the imagination.

@Alfred Thanks Alfred, you are too kind :$ but when it is a matter of "tastes and colours", there is just no arguing... ;)

Pictures for autumnal days... I guess it can stick to this theme.

I like sepia tone of photographs like the one I posted previously but I wanted to test different tone mapping and blending of these on this specific photo in APh.

Also, I've started to play with blending different images to give a colour pattern on a particular shape. Hope you like it :)
