Big_Stan
I was working on a photo this afternoon and quit at the end of the session. When I went back this evening the screen was weird. How do I get back to the default screen?

You could try a reset Hold down the Control key while starting Affinity photo. When the Clear User Data dialogue appears, the top three items should be ticked. Click on the Clear button at the bottom of the dialogue. Quote Intel i7-10700 Gen10 CPU, 32GB RAM, Geforce GTX 1660 OC 6GB Windows 10 Pro 22H2, 1x 1TB M.2 NVMe, 1 x 2TB M.2 NVMe. In case it isn't clear, what @RNKLN means is you have toggled on Separated Mode on the Windows menu. Untick that to go back to the normal window mode you are used to. See the help topic About workspace modes for more about this. Big_Stan
It was the Separated Mode problem; one click and all is well again. I don't recall going there, but Separated Mode was checked. It had to be a poltergeist. Where are the Ghost Busters when you need them? Thank you all, for your help!!
