AP + plugins works except...

Recommended Posts

Hi.

...except situation when RAW file is opened in AP

Open raw file -> Develop persona -> Photo persona -> duplicate layer ----> Filters/plugins = plugins grayed out (even free NIK plugins).

But when opening psd, jpeg, tiff I can run plugins (NIK, Luminar Flex, Luminar, Aurora)

Does it work if you skip the "duplicate layer" part of that workflow?

My question was, does it work if you don't duplicate the background layer. Just Open and Develop the image.

But thanks for the screenshot, as that actually answered one of my as yet unasked questions.

You're developing to 32-bit HDR, and it's likely that your plugins do not work on images in that format. They might work on 16-bit or 8-bit, though.

Try using Document > Convert Format/ICC Profile and choosing RGB/16 Bit and then click Convert. If that fixes the problem, then you can change your Raw Output Format options in the Develop Assistant to develop to RGB 16 Bit instead.

If that doesn't fix it, try converting to RGB/8 Bit and see if that fixes the problem.
