peteg900
One of my cameras is a Sony HX99, which is supported by the Affinity/Serif engine according to the supported cameras list. If I take a photo of a framed picture hanging on a wall and attempt to develop the .arw raw file using Affinity the displayed image has significant "reverse" pincushion where the middles of the picture frame sides are pushed in from the corners. A .jpg file of the same image displays fine. The raw file displays fine in Capture One and other software I use. If I switch the rendering engine to Apple, the raw file displays fine in Affinity. Any ideas what the problem is?
Staff stokerg Posted September 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2019 Hi peteg900 and Welcome to the Forums, I suspect we are not applying any lens correction and the Apple engine is. I know we support the RAW files from the HX99 but from checking the Lens Correction here it doesn't appear we support the lens for correction. If you can attach a sample RAW i can at least confirm if that's the case
peteg900
Thanks for your reply. Sample .arw is attached. I find that the problem worsens at longer zoom focal lengths. DSC00018.ARW
