Quantum
I'd like to create a sheet of labels like my old Avery software. I have 21 63x38mm labels in 3 columns of 7 rows. In betweeb each column there is a 2mm gap. Then there's space at the edges of the page too. Any help please?
firstdefence
You can use the Guides Manager to get that layout. View > Guides Manager... These settings should get you what you want or thereabouts, this is for A4 paper. baasith88 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... walt.farrell
It's possible that just having 1 label in the design, and using "N-Up" printing, would also do the job. Here's a screenshot of the Print dialog from Designer on Windows, for example: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
walt.farrell
But the easiest approach is probably to download the template from the Avery website. Their PDF templates work quite well in Designer, for example, in my experience. sioux
I have downloaded a .pdf blank label template for my blank labels and I cannot get it to line up? Also, how do you print without the outlines?
Komatös
@sioux Set the outline colour of the labels to a very light grey value (e.g. R=200 G=200 B=200), so that the outlines of the labels can only be recognised as a shadow. And what do you mean by "you can't line them up"? Here is an example template created from the corresponding PDF document.
