Staff stokerg Posted September 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 9, 2019 Hi marcoqf, For Windows: Click Edit > Preferences > Tools will show where additional dictionaries are installed, and change be changed/opened. Similar to the above if you create a locale folder xx-XX and paste the aff/dic files for spelling and hyphenation in here the app should pick them up. You just need to find a .dic Russian dictionary file and place it in the folder mentioned in Preferences With the Mac version, i believe we access dictionaries from the OS which i suspect is why it's already showing for you on Mac marcoqf
walt.farrell
You should be able to use the Russian Hunspell dictionaries provided for LibreOffice. You will need the two .dic files (one for spelling, one for hyphenation) and the .aff file. Just put them in the directory that you create as @stokerg indicated. stokerg and marcoqf 2 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
