Josefka
Since the last update, no page margins are displayed anymore. It works only for documents saved with this option, but not for new ones...
VolkerMB
Hi Josefka, it does work with the vast majority of users (I am just guessing as I haven't heard of this issue before). Could you share a file that demonstrates the issue (a newly created one as the old ones - according to you - do not show the issue)? Perhaps it is just a setting gone wrong... Staff Sean P Posted September 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 9, 2019 Hi Josefka, Are you able to get a screen recording of the whole screen that demonstrates this please, from a new run up? It's hard to see exactly what you're getting with a small snippet.
Josefka
Thank you. Here is the whole screen
Staff Sean P Posted September 11, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 11, 2019 Hi Josefka, There definitely looks to be something strange, as there isn't any separation between the document and pasteboard area. Can you go to Edit > Preferences > User Interface and make sure the Background Grey Level is set to the left most notch on the slider. Does that then reveal the page boundaries? Once that is done go to Document Setup and ensure you have margins set and you should then see them. I've attached a screenshot of what I see with my settings. If neither of these are working then you may have to reinstall/update your graphics drivers. What are your hardware specifications?

Here are the two files. The settings were the same, when they were saved. Menü > Ansicht > Seitenränder einblenden Unbenannt_new.afdesign unbenannt_old.afdesign The new file has Margins disabled with a 0mm value in Document setup, where as the old file has Margins enabled with a 5mm or so value. If a document doesn't have Margins enabled or specificed then View > Show Margins will not show any margins.
Josefka
Thanks at all you :-)) Problem is solved; all these settings were lost by the last update. I did not expect that... Thanks :-)
