Object Outline stays visible

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I was having a play with the latest beta and found that the object frame (I assume that is what it is called, it's the line that appears as you draw out a shape or text box) does not disappear when you click off the object. It goes away if you scroll or pan and when you press the space bar.

I can't find a means to turn this effect off so I assume it is a bug?

I have opened the file in AP proper and it works ok - no outlines.

I have attached a screen shot to show what I mean.

From their color, those outlines are showing you the Snapping Candidates. Possibly your Snapping options are different between the retail and beta versions? (The two versions do not share any settings.)

Hi Walt,

That seems to have done the trick, the setting that was set in the beta and not the AP proper was 'Show snapping candidates'.

Thanks!
