widek
I am looking for a method so that I can fill one part of the object without having to set the nodes again. In Corel there was an option of an intelligent object that automatically filled the space into an additional object. is there any method in Affinity designer? These are objects with irregular shapes. mac_heibu
Could you explain again? I don‘t understand a word. Filling a part of an object without having to set the nodes again. Which part of an object? Filling with what? When/why setting the nodes? The nodes of the fill or of the object?
widek
Filing to obiject left or right part. if I already have an object no matter what and I have to do in it one object with the same curves, for example its half, so that I do not have to draw exactly the same curves, is there a way to generate the object or you have to draw paths once more
mac_heibu
Something like that?
widek
NO. Some like this two independent vector objects

Assuming from your screenshot that the object with the irregular shape is a closed path & the line is a separate shape indicating where you want the two halves to be filled with different colors, you could do this: Select the irregular shape with the Node Tool & add a pair of nodes at the intersections of the line & the irregular shape's path. This should be easy if snapping is enabled. Optionally, delete the line unless you need it for some other reason. Select the two nodes you created & from the Context toolbar, click the "Break Curve" button. You should now have two independent open curves that you can fill separately with whatever fill color you want. Optionally, you can close the curves or leave them open. mac_heibu
??? Look at my screencast. You can use differently coloured vector objects (instead of images like in my example) to „fill“ the Vektor element.
widek
This is an example image. it's not like in this particular example, cut the lines and connect, only with a larger project when I have two objects with irregular shapes connect them with another object som like this on left on vector.
