ThePixelWhisperer
Let's say I'm working with an .eps file in Designer, then I close the file. Designer won't release its grip on the file, so when I try to rename the closed file or move it to a folder, I get the Windows 10 error message "The action can't be completed because the file is open in Affinity Designer. Close the file and try again." (See attached screenshot.) Is that a bug? I have to close Designer to be able to move or rename a closed file? Wosven
It doesn't happen everytimes, but sometimes I need too to close AD to modify files o Win 10.
Staff stokerg Posted September 7, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2019 @ThePixelWhisperer I think this may have something to do with us not releasing a file from memory, even tho its been closed. I'll need to get confirmation on that, but it would explain why closing Designer allows you to rename the file.
