murrayc
Designer has been crashing constantly today. It's the first time I've used it in months, so a bit disheartening. It consistently crashes when I try to print. Other crashes have been seemingly random and I haven't been able to recreate them. I would post log files, but I cannot find them. Staff Lee D Posted September 6, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 6, 2019 If the projects you're printing contain any embedded or linked documents, try right clicking the layer on the Layers panel and selecting Rasterise and then try printing. Crash reports can be found in different locations depending on your OS, see below. MacOS: Please go to Applications > Utilities and open the Console app. Crash Reports from our apps can be found in the User Reports section. You can Right Click the required Crash Report and select Reveal in Finder. Windows: Depending on the Affinity app you’re using, you will need to navigate to one of the below locations from the Run Dialog (paste location, press Enter). In this folder you will find Crash Reports generated by our apps. Please send us the .dmp file with the latest Created/Modified Date. Affinity Designer: %APPDATA%\Affinity\Designer\1.0\CrashReports
