zimmt
I have an Affinity Designer document with 5 artboards. A bleed of 0.2" has also been set and the bleed line is showing for each artboard. When I print an artboard directly from Affinity Designer and checkmark "Include bleed", the bleed is actually not printed. It also does not show in the print preview screen. Am I doing something wrong?
Staff stokerg Posted September 5, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 5, 2019 Hi zimmt, You are not doing anything wrong, this is a bug we have logged with Dev and hope to have it resolved shortly
zimmt
Happy to hear that. Any idea when it would be released with the next update?
Bryce
This doesn't effect exporting to PDF does it? I thought that was fixed.
zimmt
Correct, exporting to a PDF includes the bleed. Unfortunately that is not an option as what is printed is changed daily and thus has to be printed directly through the program.
Vaska
I'm trying to do a business card - but it auto scales (in a variety of ways) to full page when trying to print. This is something that really needs to be fixed. Easy enough to work around the limitation, but still... Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted November 22, 2023 Staff Share Posted November 22, 2023 The issue "Bleed fails to print when range is set to Artboards" (REF: AF-739) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2150". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
