Hi, I have just started using this great piece of software today and I want to apply a different grunge effect to two different layers. However when I use the mask it masks out all my layers. Is there any way to make the mask apply only to chosen layers?

Thanks for any help :)

Hi,

Can you please explain how you achieved this? I'm trying to do the same thing and the mask layer doesn't seem to do anything no matter where I put it.

I have 3 images each on it's own layer. One is a logo, one is a wooden fence, one is the wooden fence desaturated and the black/whites exagerrated.

I want the logo to turn transparent where the black is - so the orignal fence will show through.

I'd be grateful for any help because I've spent over an hour trying to achieve this!

Many thanks,

Adam
