Changing export size

Changing the export size of an image using the inches mm cm etc seems to result in the measure number being maintained but the size always remaining in pixels so if I set 18 inches  the image will be 12 pixels wide  am I missing something.

Welcome to the forums

Could you please provide a screenshot of your export settings and where you are setting this figure? What units does your document use by default please? (ie px, in, cm etc)
