user defined object labels and labeling behaviors

Recommended Posts

Is there a means within Affinity Designer to label objects and have those labels move dynamically with the objects being labeled? Are there class distinctions the user can assign to objects (label)? Are there metadata fields (name, type, date, associated objects, description, etc) that can be assigned to objects? Would really be helpful.

Thanks, Randall

Hi @Randall Lee Reetz,

there is no such thing as labels or meta data fields. There are layer names and color labels, though. But no enhanced searching capability for these.

This was mentioned a while ago in the context of master layers in Affinity Publisher some time ago (I cannot remember exactly when).

I very much support this feature request.

Cheers,

d.
