F.A.D.
Hello, it is possible to let Affinity Designer create two separate paths from the inner and outer margin of one single wider path? I have created a path of 5 pt width and want to transform that into two 0,2 pt paths, one representing the outer and one representing the inner margin of the original path. I have attached a screenshot. I need this for later vinyl cutting and using a wider path in the first place grants an even distance between the inner and outer edge. The vinyl cutting software needs independent lines for the inner and outer edge to work properly. It will be exported as a SVG. Thank you very much in advance! Best regards! Joachim_L
Layer -> Expand Stroke should work. Remove the fill and set the stroke width. This will make one compound path. If the cutting software needs independent paths use Boolean divide or Layer->Geometry->Separate Curves.
