Herbert Long
New to Affinity Designer (which I like very much) and have a question. I have made a historical map of Europe based on a clip .svg file which outlines the shore lines of the countries. It just shows the countries; the sea areas are blank. I used the pen tool to trace new colored objects over several of countries so that they would stand out for the viewer. However, when I put a large blue triangle at the bottom of my layers list to "insert" the sea, but the sea covers up one of my countries (Northern Denmark, labelled here "Jutes." So, northern Denmark is all blue as if it were behind the "sea rectangle" which I have placed this Denmark layer at the very top of all my layers. Thus, Denmark (pink and labelled "Jutes) is underwater so to speak and not visible. I have tried placing the Denmark map into other "Designer" documents and cutting and pasting from there. No go. Any thoughts? Thank you, Herbert Long ENGLAND.EUROPE.afdesign
Staff MEB Posted June 23, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 23, 2015 Hi Herbert Long, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Change the blend mode of the Jutes layer from Darker Colour to Normal in the Layers panel.
