Yoram
Hello, I have traced my artwork and positioned an ellipse, using the Ellipse tool. Now, I want to break the ellipse and use just a part of it. I tried using “Expand Stroke” to break the shape and then pick two nodes and press break. That didn’t work and the part of the ellipse in between the broken nodes couldn’t be deleted. Is there a way to do that? Thanks
DM1
You could draw a shape, place over elipse and after selecting both use the Subtract command. Otherwise, select and delete a node or add nodes and push to reshape. You can also: Convert a shape to curves Select a node Click on "open the curve" or equivalent Move/delete the red node (in this example, deleting the 2 nodes) Eefr

It’s designed to create a closed curve which mimics the appearance of the selected stroke.
