MarshallHarrison
I have an image that I want to convert to line art. How do I go about doing this in Affinity Photo (or Designer)? Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Fixx
Affinity Photo cannot do it perfectly. You can apply Threshold command to make image black & white (Threshold is non destructive so you can adjust image underneath it to make it optimal). You can make the image 1-bit only by exporting to 1-bit format (PNG of GIF) but this tends to dither the edge pixels (no clean edge). Exported image may not behave exactly like lineart. firstdefence
What tools do you have at your disposal, Mouse, Graphic tablet and stylus? Do you want fast conversion with practically no control over the end result? i.e apply filters, or run the image through a rudimentary vectoriser, or , as a lot of abr brush makers do, scan in artwork using basic scanner settings set to text or black and white/greyscale. or do you want total control over the end result by using a graphic tablet and you drawing the lines using the vector brush in Affinity Designer?
