kat
Artboards & slices 1. How do I dupicate a group of artboards. Each row is a group. 2. My 550 x550 artboards layer slices are 551 x551 or 550x551 so I have to redo each slice to 550x550. Any way to make artboards that will convert to 550x550 slices? 3. Riley slice info show a yellow triangle in 3rd screenshot. It's the only bad yellow indicator. What is this and how do I correct. Compliment: I haven't make a new watercolor url page because it was such a pain to create new same size art. With AD I drag files into 550x500 artboard, duplicate artboards and export slices. This is wonderful!!!!

Staff Dan C Posted August 30, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 30, 2019 Hi Kat 15 hours ago, kat said: 1. How do I dupicate a group of artboards. Each row is a group Simply select the group then either right-click the group in the Layers Studio and select Duplicate (or you can use the keyboard shortcut CTRL/CMD + J) 15 hours ago, kat said: 2. My 550 x550 artboards layer slices are 551 x551 or 550x551 This indicates - as Psenda has mentioned above - that your artboards aren't currently placed on 'whole pixels' in your document. Select any of your artboards then navigate to the Transform Studio in the bottom right of the app. Here you will see X & Y values for the artboard, likely these will not be whole values. Please delete any decimals from the X & Y values and then recreate your slices - you should now find your slices to be the correct size The yellow triangle should explain the issue if you hover your mouse over it, as Psenda has mentioned I hope this helps - I'm glad to hear you're enjoying using Affinity! This is because you have two artboards with the same name, so they will be exported to the same output file, and will overwrite each other. How to fix it? kat
Selecting artboards within group then Command dragging worked. Selecting and dragging top level Group did not. kat
I copied artboard from above. Deleted % pixels from all artboards. But I had already set all slices to 550 except the last row where I copied Huskie from Hansel. Huskie is still 551. How do I recreate Huskie slice? Thank you for you patience. Slice ability like this is a game changer for me : )
