jackamus
I know it is possible to lock guides but is it possible to lock specific guides? If not this would be a really good feature! My workaround is to draw a guide and lock the layer. Any other suggestions? Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! walt.farrell
It is not possible to lock specific guides except in Publisher, and in Publisher it's cumbersome. Create a Master Page, put a Guide on the Master Page, and apply the Master to a document page. The guide is locked on the document page. I don't understand your workaround. Guides are not part of a layer, so locking the layer has no effect on whether you can move the guide or not. I believe he's drawing a manual guide - likely with the Pen Tool in line mode - then locking this object walt.farrell 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.
