Goodbye Adobe

Recommended Posts

So after 15 years with Adobe, the time has come... but it pains me... Affinity looks great, and totally affordable and no subscriptions and the community/support looks really good.

But, is there anyone out there who has been through it and now feels better with Affinity? It's just the little things you get used to... but will it be OK?

I’ve just purchased the 3 apps but I’m not quite ready to let go of Adobe yet... I’ll try to do all jobs in Affinity moving forward and if I can do that without issues for a period of time I’ll consider canceling my Adobe subscription...

I do have concerns with how I’ll deal with not having Adobe Acrobat, how do you guys get around that? Also I have a lot of licenced Adobe Fonts so that’s going to be somewhat of a loss also... 😕

the only thing i really miss from photoshop is the layer fill slider which makes the 8 special blend modes work correctly.  this is not available in affinity photo unfortunately.  I have been trying to get this for over tow years...  no joy yet.
