sdrum Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 I have been using Affinity Publisher Beta 172.458 for my work and it's a lot more stable than the v. 172 release, which crashes easily. Thankfully, I believe all the features I need are in the beta release so I am fine with it, but wanted to let you about it. Great software anyway. garrettm30 Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 There is a known issue where 1.7.2 will crash if you try to print a document that has certain other documents embedded in it. Besides that, if you find other issues, it would be a help to us all if you post the specifics in the bug forums so the developers can be aware of them, especially if they are worse in 1.7.2 than in beta 458. No big issue, the 458 beta is working very well and I wait until a new official version comes out. Strange. I've found 471 to be really stable and I've not had a single crash - yet. The issues are a return of the pinning problem which is a nuisance while I'm working on my current project which has a lot of images within the paragraphs and need to be pinned but most other reported problems haven't caused me any issues.
