vonBusing
Please, please, please: let Publisher remember the last used Area setting in the export dialogue. The default is set to "All spreads", but I _never_ use that. I want "All pages". I do not know how many times I have to re-export my file because that setting is stuck on spreads by default, independently of all other export settings that are remembered very nicely. This is _so_ annoying... garrettm30, high5ths, Wosven and 1 other
vonBusing
Bump: Publisher 1.8.1 is still working the same way. If this is the intended behavior (not a bug but a feature), I would love to hear an explanation of this choice that I do not understand. If not, are there any plans to fix it? Wosven
Bump! Again. At least the apps should remember the last setting, or display in alphabetical order (All pages/Toutes les pages would be first). MisterM2020
garrettm30
I agree. Remembering the user choice would be the best, but barring that, why should export as spreads be the default choice? It has its place, but it seems exporting pages to be the far more common operation. vonBusing, MisterM2020 and Fixx
Ammoniteii
Yes this is a very annoying behaviour, it would be great to be able to set default behaviour even if it was per document or have default set to all pages automatically. Dan Cross
I am also annoyed by this. Why can we not change the default? MisterM2020
MisterM2020
Still there in 1.10.5. As the software seems to remember pretty much every other setting, should this be classed as a bug spanning multiple versions? I also had a rummage around in the publisher folder, just in case I could come up with a config hack, but found nothing.
Catshill
Unless I've missed something V2 still does not remember (or allow you to set a preset) the File settings Area Disappointingly, you still have to remember to change to change it from "All Spreads" to "All Pages" which is what commercial printers require. Grrr. vonBusing

Grrr. Yes, noticed that too 😩. One could think that this a very low hanging fruit that should be programmatically very easy to fix, but still not fixed in version 2.0. Maybe Serif will one day explain this incomprehensible choice.
