DRana
Hi Guys, First, I am new to Affinity Photo switching from PS and I am loving it. Because of this recent switch, I am having trouble looking for the "Clone Source" panel that i used to find it on the 'Windows Tab' in PS. Could anyone of you folks help me where I could find the "Clone Source" panel in Affinity? Thank you.
R C-R
I suspect you are looking for the Sources panel. Using it to work with 'global' clone sources is a bit involved, so I suggest watching this video tutorial to help with that. The tutorial is one of the 'legacy' ones running on a older version of Photo so everything may not look the same but it should tell you what you need to know. DRana
Thank you for your response. The "Clone Source" panel that I was looking for is something different. Below I've attached the screenshot taken from PS to represent how it would look like. Thank you again for your kind help.
Staff Dan C Posted August 29, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 29, 2019 Unfortunately Affinity Photo doesn't currently have a comparable feature to the one shown in your screenshot. Using the Clone Tool and Sources Panel you can set the rotation, scale and flip settings of the tool from the Context toolbar - allowing for greater control when cloning.
