BeverlyE
I've bought quite a few brushes that will not install on Affinity Photo iPad and I don't know why. The file type is .abr so why won't they import? Artstudio has no problems with them but I MUCH prefer Affinity Photo iPad and don't want to have to keep going in and out of other apps. DM1
If vector brushes make sure you are in vector mode and for raster brushes switch to raster mode. If it is an issue with the actual brushes, mods may be able to help if you give them a sample brush to work with. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). markbowen
Not sure if the iPad is having the same problem as the desktop versions but there is a known bug on 1.7.2 desktop that is preventing any brushes from being imported. They're looking into that now so hoping that might be the same thing with the iPad version. DM1
I think that was just an iPadOS issue (beta) that was fixed in latest iOS beta release. I may be wrong though. Unfortunately not. Definitely an issue on desktop and has been confirmed. I've been re-creating so many brushes the past couple of days as can't install anything Quote https://www.instagram.com/mbphotomanipulationshttps://www.behance.net/mbphotomanipulations Affinity Photo 1.7.2 Mac OSX 10.12.5 Mac Pro (Mid 2010)

What kind of brushes are you trying to import? APh only understands *.abr files, not *.tpl files. BeverlyE
The same thing happens. I did try using the "import brushes" from inside the app but nothing happens. I have had it crash but other times just no import happens.
