Peter Haitz Posted August 22, 2019 Share Posted August 22, 2019 Hello, i try to make a book with affinity publisher. Now i saved my working file in a couple of versions (filename_nr) . However if i use the lastet filename Publisher crashed immediately. However if i use the version bevor, it works. The difference between the two files are only some changes in the format. The crash happen on different Macs. The error log : --- Crashed Thread: 3 Dispatch queue: com.apple.root.default-qos Exception Type: EXC_BAD_INSTRUCTION (SIGILL) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000000000 Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY Termination Signal: Illegal instruction: 4 Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0x4 Terminating Process: exc handler [0] --- How can i open the latest file and avoid the crash? Thanks Hi, it is strange, because i was happened twice. And i build up the whole file. I try to remember what i changed. - Changed the logo from the first page - add some pages - Add a header (Blue bar) - Add some text - moved the page number from the button to the top - Changed some headlines Noting special ... Last changes: deleting pages, applying master-pages. Version 1.7.2, Mac OS 10.13.6. If necessary we can send you the project file too. Peter Haitz Posted December 25, 2019 Author Share Posted December 25, 2019 Hello, the developer investigated the file and it was able to work without any issues. Unfortunately the file crashed again. It is bad, because I have to finalize the book. Two questions a:.) Could someone help me again please b.) How can is solve the issue by my own?
