atesz
Text Wrap now works only when object is above the text frame. 1.7.2 introduced this behaviour and I hope this is a bug and not a feature. I need Text Wrap to work in cases also when object is bellow the text frame.
mac_heibu
No wrapping weorks in both situations. Perhaps youinadvertendly activated „Ignore Text wrap“ in the text frame panel.

atesz
Thanks! It seems the problem is on my end.
mac_heibu
Could you attach a small Publisher document, which demonstrates the issue?
atesz
Attached the example file. Meanwhile I found a solution, but it's really weird: if I check the "Ignore Text Wraps" on the smaller text frame (which has the Text Wrap Style "Jump" set), it suddenly works. text_wrap_test.afpub
thomaso
It is indeed weird. Apparently it occurs if both objects involved in text wrap are both text frames. In that case text wrap seems to work only under specific conditions. The text frame which should be wrapped must be either/or ... placed on a layer above (in front of) the wrapping text frame a text frame with ticked "Ignore Text Wraps" an Artistic text frame a text frame with text converted to curves text wrap weirdness.m4v atesz 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Dave Harris
It's a bug. In 1.7.1 if two text frames overlapped and both had wrap then they'd both wrap around each other. We tried to fix that in 1.7.2 by making the one on top win, but unfortunately the code triggers even if the one on top is not wrapping. This will be fixed in a future release. thomaso and Jon P 1
