Option not to swap Flood Fill Tool colors

Recommended Posts

As mentioned in this topic, some of us don't like that selecting the Flood Fill Tool (usually) automatically swaps the primary & secondary colors when it is selected, or find it confusing when it does this.

So it would be useful if a "Swap" option could be added to the context toolbar, with a 'sticky' checkmark that if unticked would prevent the swap from occurring.

I find this very frustrating. In all other programs I use, hitting x switches the foreground and background colors. That is the only time I want it to happen. A checkbox wouldn't do, because Affinity forgets customized settings for a tool. If for some crazy reason this is a useful feature to someone who isn't me, great, but I want the ability to disable it.

That is why I suggested making the setting 'sticky,' like quite a few others in the Affinity apps.
