Master page fields etc. in vertical format!

My page numbers are being applied in vertical format, which means it is impossible for me to apply a title or name for each page as a header... no idea why or how to fix that...

Without seeing the actual .afpub file I can only guess, but if you're using Frame Text for the page number you may need to make the frame wider.

Tried making the frame wider. Stretched it across the whole page, to see what was going on. That's not the issue..

Thanks for the file. Sorry, but I'm not seeing what the problem might be, and I thought I understood the settings that could cause that kind of behavior. I can confirm that the page numbers are doing the same thing for me as for you; the width of the frame doesn't matter, and if you make the frame taller you get the page number digits stacked vertically.

Maybe someone else will spot something.

Unless the document is corrupt, I cannot see anything wrong. I spent 5 minutes with the file. Shouldn't need but 1 minute or less.

I also tried a new frame, new page variable. No dice. Looked at p.style settings and didn't see anything that stood out.

I cannot replicate the issue in my old files nor a new document.

I can't see what it is, either. The only thing I've seen remotely like it is some weird application of a table formatting in the background...

ERROR: The Text Frame column width is 0"

Dragging the handles of the Text Frame does not change it but entering a value in the dialogue box will.
