dragsternj
We had publisher installed and it worked fine but got prompted for an upgrade. It appears the upgrade uninstalled the version we had and than failed to install the new version. Error message is just a plain "installation failed" We can also not install anymore our original version. Same error message. We tried to install as administrator and are on a windows 10 machine with latest updates. please advise Thx
walt.farrell
Did you reboot before trying to install as administrator? If not, that is the first thing to do. If that still fails, press and hold the Windows key, and type R. In the Run box that pops up, enter %temp%\AffinitySetup and press OK. You'll get a File Explorer window, and the directory that is displayed will have subdirectories for each attempted installation. Pick the one with the latest date/time and open it. You'll find Setup.log and SetupUI.log files inside the directory, which you can browse with Notepad or another text editor. One of those files will have more error information.
