JoeyS Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 I am using Affinity Designer and Affinity Designer on a Mac (OS10.12) after many years as an AI/PS user. I really like the Affinity software! Unfortunately, at the moment I have a minor but frustrating Issue. The preset image brushes (the "rope", "chain", "zipper" etc) have disappeared completely from the brush panel. I have tried using preferences to reset the brushes and I have tried reinstalling (although there seems to be no way to uninstall first). Nothing works. HOW do I get the preset brushes back?? Thanks! Dan C Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Hi JoeyS, Welcome to the forums These brushes were removed from Affinity between the 1.6 - 1.7 update, my apologies. I've attached a file below containing the Image brushes from version 1.6 if you wish you can import these into version 1.7.2! Image - 1.6.afbrushes eartner and Papain 2 Quote

The download link in Dan's post worked fine just now. Quote »There are three responses to a piece of design: yes, no, and wow. Wow is the one to aim for.« Milton Glaser (1929 - 2020)
Dan C Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 @Scott Prock The above attachment can still be downloaded on my end, so I suspect it may have been a temporary glitch as Andy has mentioned above. Please do let me know if you're having further trouble downloading this Quote
