Diane Window 10 Desktop AD
Does anyone know of a video showing how to do the effect in the sample? I am not sure what the effect is called in photoshop it is called pixel sorter, but I have affinity photo and designer and was hoping to be able to do this effect very cool looking. McAvity
Hello, i'm sorry that i can not give a good answer directly. But probably you can find out with this tutorial for Photoshop, which describes how to achive this effect manually, how to perform the same steps in Affinity Photo (in particular i'm unsure if there is a equal function in Affinity Photo for the "Wind"-Filter in Photoshop): https://www.spoongraphics.design/abstract-pixel-sorting-effect-photoshop-tutorial/ Regards Alex Diane Window 10 Desktop AD
Staff Dan C Posted August 19, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 19, 2019 Hi Diane, Unfortunately Affinity doesn't have a direct replacement for the Pixel Sorter tool, so I'll move this thread to our Feedback section of the forums for our devs to see and consider adding this in the future! Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! Medical Officer Bones
The G'MIC filter set includes a Pixel Sort filter. To use it (free), download Krita, and import/copy-paste your image in Krita. https://krita.org/en/ Then apply the pixel sort filter: Filter-->Start G'MIC QT and search for the pixel sort filter. Change the settings to your liking. I wish the Affinity devs would include a version of G'MIC. It's a really nice set of effects.
