firstdefence
Remove Black Matte and Remove White Matte refer to images you may have cut out of a black or white background and when viewed with a colour underneath you see a small halo of black or white. These filters attempt to remove that halo. Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... To be honest, learning how to refine a selection will remove the usefulness of such filters, they are generally non configurable one-shot attempts that have unpredictable results. making better selections and maxing out the refining skills will yield much better results.
