Black rectangle after using 3d fx

Thanks for the file. I've just tried playing with the settings but I'm not getting any of the marks. Would it be possible for you to attach a video showing you reproducing the issue, just to ensure you're not doing anything I've missed.

Could you try going to Edit > Preferences > Performance and changing the Renderer to WARP and see if that stops the mark from appearing. Note this mode will be really slow as its a software renderer - it is simply to just rule out if this is being caused by the graphics card.

If that does stop it from happening try switching back and updating to the latest drivers.

I can see the problem clearly in the 1.7 released product but it does not occur in the latest beta, so it may have been a bug that has been fixed.

In the OP's file the problem seems to be related to having a Bevel/Emboss FX on a rotated rectangle

PS Switching to Warp does not cure it

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thank you very much Carl! I've had my head stuck in the beta all day! Just opened in 1.7.1 and can confirm I do get this behaviour. So this definitely looks like it has been fixed now! :)
