Thommango Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 So I followed the instructions for transforming a pixel selection and tried it multiple times, but I must be missing something. Here's what's happening: I have a single layer with some content. I make a marquee selection. I press Q. The screen outside the marquee goes monocrome. I press V. Handles appear on the selection. I drag a handle. The selection changes. However, my expectation was that the content would be stretched. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. Staff MEB Posted June 19, 2015 Staff Share Posted June 19, 2015 Hi Thommango, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, the content will not change because you're transforming the selection only, not what's inside it. If you actually want to change the content inside the selection, do everything as you described except the step where you press Q. Because it's here where you enter in Quick mask mode and start changing only the selection. Let me know if you still have trouble.
