Windows or Mac? Purchased from Serif directly, or from Windows or Mac Store?

Have you run Designer at least once on its own?

What version of Designer is installed (from Help > About or the startup splash screen)?

Hi Isis478,

Could you close all applications and then go to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0 and delete the 'appinfo' folder.

Once that has been done reopen Designer and Photo. You should now be able to start Publisher and use StudioLink. Please note that this solution is only valid for 1.7.1. In 1.7.2 we have made many improvements to this behaviour which does not rely on the appinfo folder.
