Isis478
I bought Publisher, Designer and Photo, but I'm not able to link my designer with publisher. My photo is successfully linked with publisher
walt.farrell
Windows or Mac? Purchased from Serif directly, or from Windows or Mac Store? Have you run Designer at least once on its own? What version of Designer is installed (from Help > About or the startup splash screen)? Isis478
It's windows. Got it from Serif directly and I have used the designer and it's version 1.7.
fde101
Just to verify, is Publisher also at 1.7.1?

Staff Sean P Posted August 15, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 15, 2019 Hi Isis478, Could you close all applications and then go to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0 and delete the 'appinfo' folder. Once that has been done reopen Designer and Photo. You should now be able to start Publisher and use StudioLink. Please note that this solution is only valid for 1.7.1. In 1.7.2 we have made many improvements to this behaviour which does not rely on the appinfo folder.
siobhan2022
I have the same issue. I tried opening the common folder, but the appinfo folder didnt appear. When I try to switch to designer from publidher it says i have to upload publisher, but i cant see a way to do this
