Hi,

Similar questions have been asked before but I am still confused with the wordings of the answer. Sorry for reposting.

I have a MAC machine and a Windows machine. I bought the affinity designer program for my Mac machine in 2014 (I still have the bill from istore). Can I somehow just use the product key to download it on my windows machine?

I tried looking around but it doesn't seem to give me such an option. Do you think contacting the company will help?

Nishant.

Hi Nishant,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Applications bough from the Mac App Store don't have/use products keys. Your Apple ID is associated with the app downloaded from the store.

Each OS requires its own license. If you want to use the application on both macOS and Windows you have to buy a license for each one.
