kazrbutler
I am using Publisher 1.7.1.404 on my PC and have encountered an issue on more than one occasion. At first, I thought it was me, but it is possible it is a bug. I have an svg image which I added to a text frame using the picture placement tool. All goes well, until I decide I need to adjust the picture size due to a change in the space available as a result of edits made to previous text. No matter what I do, I cannot reposition, resize or delete the image. In the end, I end up deleting the master on the page to remove the image, and then replacing the master, linking up the text frame with previous pages, and then finally replacing the image. So I have a work around, but it would be much better if I could just adjust the image. I'm going to use a picture frame this time around, but any suggestions helpful. I'm happy to send the file for staff, if that will help, but it isn't something I can upload to the forums. Intel i7-6700HQ CPU 16GB RAM 64 bit. Staff Jon P Posted August 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 13, 2019 Hi, If you want to upload the file when it has a picture in the state you describe (where it can't be deleted, resized etc) I'll take a look. Thanks Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
kazrbutler
I saved the file before I continued with my next steps but where do I upload it so only staff can see it?

kazrbutler
Thanks @Jon P I've just uploaded the file. The image I've had issues with is on page 5.
Staff Jon P Posted August 15, 2019 Staff Share Posted August 15, 2019 If you right click the Master Page in the layers tab when viewing Page 5 and select "Edit Detached" then you will be able to move/re position the picture. You can re-insert it whilst doing this and it should be fine to interact with afterwards. Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
kazrbutler
Thanks. Yes, that does work and I've made a note for future.
