text box bug

Creating a new flier. Open a text box and the background is coloured (which it shouldn't be). cant remove the colour as the colour menu does not detect there is a colour there.

It sounds like the default attributes for text frames have been set to include a fill.

Is this Publisher? If so you can change the fill from the View > Studio > Text Frame panel. Otherwise using Edit > Defaults > Factory Reset should nuke everything. If this is happening with new documents too, then using Edit > Defaults > Save will save the fixed settings. These option are there so you can set object defaults to whatever you want.

Hi Dave,

Thanks - that fixed it. 

I didn't change the attributes, but it seemed to have selected the colour based on a previous shape image colour i used.
