telemax Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Hi, I make a seamless pattern, using "symbols", and i need to increase/decrease the canvas(artboard) size many times. But in AD, guides stick to the left, top corner of the artboard. Staff Sean P Posted August 14, 2019 Staff Posted August 14, 2019 Hi telemax, This is by design. Guides are positioned using absolute values which are always based on the Document or Artboards Spread Origin (by default the Top Left). This means that when ever you modify the size it will always ensure guides are positioned to maintain these absolute values. You should try using Column guides with no gutter and the fill set to Outline. This should achieve what you are wanting. m.vlad 1
