Cloning

Hi,

I asked this question about 18 months ago , but I’m just seeing if there is an improved way of cloning from image to another. I want to open 2 images and clone say a nice sky to another image. Most are taken on tripods, but some are free hand.

Do you mean instead of using the Clone Brush Tool and different sources with its Source Panel?

Are you opening both images in the same document, or each image to it's own document?

Apologies, are both of you images you're cloning from Placed in one document, or are they each Opened in their own documents?

Basically I’m just after the easiest way to clone from one image to another with the ability to use some sort of history brush. 

Im guessing 2 images will have to be open somewhere? There must be several ways to do this I’m just after the more user friendly option.
