Hi John :)

This means one of your linked resources has moved to a folder/location that Affinity Publisher cannot access, meaning this linked object is now 'missing'. You need to authorise Publisher to allow access to this location to continue using the placed object.

We recommend using the Authorise Global option to avoid seeing this pop-up in the future, and to reduce the chance of Publisher having 'missing' resources.

Hi Dan,

I would like to add a comment although I know this is an older post.

I understand your recommendation, but how exactly do you change this setting if you have chosen not to authorize global in the beginning. OR if you want to change global access to something more restrictive, is there a way to do that?

thank you

Hi @BeeWinters,

My apologies for the delayed response here!

As far as I'm aware, these settings are macOS specific preferences, which can be changed at any time through System Preferences > Security > Privacy, I hope this helps :)

Hi.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I do not see the affinity app in systemPreference> security > privacy
I don’t see it under “Full disk access” or “files and folders”. This is true for both apps I have, and apps I haven’t authorized(accidentally) global access after the first pop-up. I am trying to fix my initial mistake, so if you know of a solution, that would be very much appreciated.

Thank you
