Change color or intensity of grid

Recommended Posts

I know this must be obvious, but I'm not seeing it.  When I click on File > New to start a new project, I select the iPad Air Retina preset.  AffinityDesigner opens a white canvas, and I then select View > Show Grid.  See images below.  But I find it hard to see the grid, as it is gray-on-white.  How do adjust the color or intensity of the grid?  Thx

Hi Pomme27,

We currently have no way of changing the intensity or colour of the grid.

I'll get this post moved to the feature requests section, as it would be a good idea if we had a slider to alter the intensity of the grid and also the option to change the colour as well under the Preferences section of Affinity Designer.

The option to set the grid colour is in the list of improvements being made soon.

I'm getting round it by creating a locked layer as the bottom layer with a rectangle covering the page with a black fill and a 5% opacity applied. This will do the trick for now.

Hello, was this feature implemented? I'm working on titles with light colours with transparent background, so it is not visible on the default background grid for transparent background.

YES, it's been there for a while

Does this not do what is needed?
